My stay at the hotel was mostly enjoyable, as I was welcomed with a lovely bottle of champagne and chocolates in the room. However, for the steep price of £1,100, I expected a bit more from the accommodations, especially since the views were limited. The dining experience was delightful, especially the attention to detail in the restaurant. I found the location to be excellent, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions, though the overall value for money didn't quite meet my expectations.

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental was truly exceptional. The luxurious ambiance coupled with an incredibly warm welcome made it feel more like a resort than a hotel. While I was thrilled with the stunning room and the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property, there were a few minor hiccups due to ongoing construction that slightly marred the experience. Nonetheless, the dining at the hotel was outstanding, particularly the birthday treat that impressed me with its delightful flavors.
